About the Town Hall

The Town Hall is a reflection of the political and social life of the capital. It keeps the residents and visitors of Vilnius abreast of the latest innovations. The Town Hall, like the city, is modern, cosmopolitan, and open to the ideas of the world.

Main fields of activity

Cultural events. The Town Hall is a place that invites locals and guests alike to support and advance cultural maturity: we organise public exhibitions, lectures, artists’ presentations, and tours, as well as provide spaces for conferences and seminars.

Representational events. This is one of the most remarkable fields of activity of the institution. We organise and oversee ceremonial sessions of the Vilnius City Municipality Council; various award, prize, and honorary title ceremonies; celebrations of national commemorative days; greeting and welcoming of delegations and guests of the city; and representational events of various institutions of the Vilnius City Municipality.

Commercial events.  Various public (concerts, commemorations) and private (corporate events, anniversaries) events can be organized in the focal point of the city - the Town Hall.
