Traditional Lithuanian Folklore/World Music/Folktronica/Electronic Music

Elektroninės sutartinės is a Lithuanian group that blends traditional Lithuanian music with modern electronic sounds to create a unique and compelling sound. The group consists of two members: producer/musician Victor Diawara and folklore researcher/vocalist Laurita Peleniūtė, joined on stage by Elena Dambrauskaitė (vocals), Eglė Jačauskienė (vocals), Boris Kulenovic (keyboards and bass guitar), and Vytis Vainilaitis (drums).

Their music is inspired by sutartinės, a traditional Lithuanian polyphonic singing style known for its intricate harmonies and rhythms. By combining these traditional elements with electronic beats, synthesizers, and samples, Electronic Sutartinės creates a sound rooted in tradition but also forward-looking.

In 2021, the group released their debut album Elektroninės sutartinės. Their music has been praised for its ability to merge different cultural influences and create a distinctive Lithuanian sound.

Elektroninės sutartinės has participated in various festivals and venues in Lithuania and abroad. Their concerts are known for their energy and passion. Using a variety of instruments and electronic equipment, the band creates a dynamic and engaging performance.

In addition to their music, Elektroninės sutartinės is also known for their commitment to promoting Lithuanian culture and heritage. The group collaborates with traditional music performers and dancers to showcase the richness and diversity of Lithuanian culture.
