The concert program “C’est magnifique” is imbued with the charm of French and Southern European songs, featuring Lithuanian compositions that perfectly align with the dreamy atmosphere and the program’s title, “It’s Magnificent.” The playful sounds of musicals, French chanson, and Lithuanian chanson will not lack the romance of happiness and love.
The concert will present a modern orchestral sound created by a pianist playing multiple instruments live, enhanced by specially prepared soundtracks. The aesthetic visual effect of the concert will be complemented by video projections prepared specifically for the program.
“When I listen to the songs from this program, I sometimes get lost and can’t understand how it happens that Ch. Trenet’s ‘La Mer’ and M. Noviko’s ‘Pavasariška kelionė’ share so much in common,” says one of the program’s creators, E. Seilius.
