Lithuanian Paralympic Committee invites you to the exhibition “Paris 2024.”
From November 12 to 24, at Vilnius Town Hall, photographs from the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games in Paris will be displayed. Captured by photographer Vytautas Dranginis, the photos showcase the emotions of nine Lithuanian athletes and one guide as they achieved their dream of competing in the world’s largest sporting event for people with disabilities.
“The Paralympic movement is more than sport, and the Paralympic Games are more than a sporting event. They represent willpower, determination, human strength, openness, and tolerance toward each other. A celebration where everyone is a winner because they’ve already overcome the greatest barriers in their lives – their disabilities. May these moments captured in photographs inspire pride in our country and its athletes, becoming a source of encouragement for all who seek the strength to move forward in life,” says Mindaugas Bilius, President of the Lithuanian Paralympic Committee and a Paralympic champion.
