A Grand and Festive Concert Honoring Georg Friedrich Händel. Join us for a spectacular evening dedicated to the legendary German-English Baroque composer Georg Friedrich Händel (1685–1759). Unlike many of his contemporaries, Händel achieved widespread fame during his lifetime, and his music continues to captivate audiences today. This concert will showcase some of Händel’s most magnificent orchestral masterpieces, including “Water Music” and “Music for the Royal Fireworks”, alongside other exquisite works. The Lithuanian Symphony Wind Orchestra will be joined by internationally acclaimed performers: Japanese soprano Yo Otahara, harpsichordist Vaiva Storastienė, and the renowned Lithuanian choirs “Varpelis” and “Dagilėlis”.
