“Artūras Novikas Jazz School” is the first and only music school where the main focus is on multi-voice ensemble singing. It is a modern music school, soon to celebrate its 21st anniversary. The school’s ensembles actively perform in Lithuania and abroad, participate in competitions, and win them.
The concert “Jazzing Summer” is a traditional summer concert that the school holds to close each academic year, honor its graduates, and showcase what the children have learned throughout the year. The youngest students, aged 4–5, will perform the most cheerful songs, and the concert will also feature classical melodies, jazz standards, and popular tunes, either originally composed or arranged by Artūras Novikas. The concert will conclude with a performance by the senior vocal group “Jazz Island.”
