Artist-painter, monumentalist, professor
In 2007 awarded Honorary Citizen of Šiauliai City; in 2014 Honorary Citizen of Joniškėlis.
From 1961 lecturer at Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute (currently Šiauliai University).
Founder of the Drawing Department at the Faculty of Arts at Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute and its first Department Head from 1965 to 1974.
From 1994 to 1997 Head of the Department of Art Education at the Faculty of Pedagogy at Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute.
In 1995 awarded tenure to become Professor of Pedagogy.
From 1997 to 2004 – Head of the Department of Art Didactics at the Faculty of Education at Šiauliai University.
From 1964 member of the Lithuanian Artists' Association.

Frescoes and sgrafittos: "The Harvest", "The History of Medicine", "The Bison Hunting", "The Dance", "The Hops", "Resting by the Lake Talša", "Orpheus and Prometheus" and others.
Stone mosaics: "Bishop Motiejus Valančius" in Šiauliai Cathedral, the portraits of eight celebrities of Šiauliai region (of Mykolas Biržiška, Povilas Višinskis, Stasys Šalkauskis, Ignas Prielgauskas, Peliksas Bugailiškis, Marius Katiliškis, Jonas Leonas Petkevičius, Juozas Vaitkevičius), "The Tree of Life" and the portraits of six doctors at the Honorary Gallery at Republican Šiauliai County Hospital, the diptych "Comedy" and "Tragedy" at the Šiauliai State Drama theatre, the portrait of Vincent van Gogh in the Town hall of Etten Leur (Netherlands); "The Oak", "From Lithuanian Mythology" located at Vilnius University was rewarded the State Prize in 1979, and others.
Molbert Art: from 1963 to 1995 (after which, none recorded) a total 691 paintings, 305 watercolours, 228 oil on canvas and on paper. During the period of 1989–1990 an abundance of pastel was used in the paintings.
Latest works: the portrait of priest Ignacas Štachas, painted in pastel and stone mosaics, at the St. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Šiauliai (2016–2017).
Latest exhibitions in Vilnius Exhibition Halls: "The Wound" (2006), "A Hope Box" (2012), "Solden" (2013).
Literary works: "Beyond the Horizon" (2006), "Time turned into Stone: a gap between life and creativity (2010), "My Gabija faded away" (2013).
"Coming" which his collection of poems, created 2017–2018, would have been called.
Published teaching curriculums: "10 drawing techniques for children" (1984, together with prof. A. Toleikis), "Animalistic drawings", "Font" and others.
