Their thoughtfully selected program features highlights from the piano trio repertoire. Jean Sibelius’s “Lovisa” is an early work that reflects the Nordic landscape and emotional harmony. Anatolijus Šenderovas’s “Song and Dance” is a theatrical, contrast-rich piece dedicated to David Geringas. Franz Schubert’s Piano Trio No. 1, written in 1828 — the final year of his life — stands out for its melodicism, lyricism, and innovative approach to the trio genre.
