Internationally acclaimed pianist Ya-Fei Chuang will make her long-awaited debut in Lithuania with a special piano recital on August 6 at Vilnius Town Hall, as part of the Vivace Vilnius International Summer Music Festival.
Ya-Fei Chuang’s career spans continents and some of the world’s most prestigious stages. Originally from Taiwan, she has performed in Argentina, Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, Israel, Norway, Japan, Taiwan, and the United States. Her collaborations include performances with the Berlin, Boston, Birmingham, and Tokyo Symphony Orchestras. She has also appeared at renowned festivals such as Verbier, Schleswig-Holstein, the Bach Festival, Mozartwoche, Beethovenfest, and many others.
In addition to her performance, we are proud to announce that Ya-Fei Chuang will share her vast experience, insight, and musical vision with young pianists at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, offering masterclasses and mentorship during her visit.
Currently, she holds faculty positions at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, and the Boston Conservatory.
