The international summer music festival “Vivace Vilnius” begins its fourteenth season with a remarkable event – the celebratory 100th festival concert. This symbolic evening marks an important milestone in the festival’s history, reflecting its continuous growth and international recognition.
On this special occasion, one of Lithuania’s most distinguished pianists, Mūza Rubackytė, will take the stage. Her programme will reveal the grandeur, virtuosity, and emotional depth of the Romantic era’s musical heritage. The audience can expect not only an outstanding artistic performance of the highest level, but also a meaningful celebration dedicated to the festival community – a community built over the years by world-renowned educators, performers, and young emerging talents.
Mūza Rubackytė – Biography
Mūza Rubackytė is one of Lithuania’s most renowned pianists, internationally recognised for her distinctive artistic voice, exceptional technical mastery, and intellectually profound interpretations.
After graduating from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, she continued her studies at the Moscow Conservatory. Her international career gained particular momentum following her victory at the prestigious Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Budapest.
The artist has performed in many of the world’s most prestigious venues across Europe, Asia, and North America, collaborating with renowned conductors and orchestras. She is regarded as one of the world’s leading interpreters of Franz Liszt’s works, and her recordings have repeatedly received the highest recognition from international music critics.
Her extensive repertoire encompasses music from various eras – from the Baroque period to contemporary composers.
Mūza Rubackytė is also deeply committed to nurturing young musicians, conducting masterclasses around the world and serving as a jury member of numerous international competitions. Her performances are distinguished by exceptional emotional intensity, refinement, and artistic freedom.
