Three talented musicians invite you on an unforgettable musical journey.

The programme The New Four Seasons will feature a unique interpretation of the celebrated cycle Recomposed by Max Richter: Vivaldi – The Four Seasons, specially arranged for a chamber trio exclusively for this project.

This is a fresh perspective on a timeless classic through the lens of the 21st century. In Richter’s interpretation, Vivaldi’s Baroque virtuosity is transformed into a luminous, meditative soundscape. The music remains recognisable, yet feels entirely new.

While Richter’s Four Seasons emerge from the silence and light of the North, Piazzolla’s music ignites with the fire of the South. His cycle The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires is not a calendar of nature, but an emotional map of a vibrant metropolis – its nights, rhythms and passions.

Comprising four movements in the style of tango nuevo, this music brings together classical forms and the expressive intensity of Argentine tango.

Piazzolla composed The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires over several years, with each piece emerging at a different stage of his life. As a result, the cycle unfolds almost like a personal autobiography, in which tango becomes the language of memory.

THE NEW FOUR SEASONS is a meeting of two worlds – Nordic contemplation and Southern passion. It brings together two eras and two different perspectives on time and the human experience. Here, the changing seasons become a metaphor for life, transformation and inner movement.

Immerse yourself in the cold, pulsating sounds of Winter as reimagined by Max Richter.
